Notes: | A nice plant that does tolerate filtered sunlight and works great shallowly rooted in an alpine garden. This is a very fast spreader and will take over less vigorous varieties if not hemmed in well and divided often. Small, fleshy leaves are coral when new, maturing to green and becoming reddish-bronze in winter. Small, star-shaped white flowers appear above the foliage. A vigorous groundcover or rock garden subject. Evergreen. Do you want a plant that continues to change and grow as your landscape does? Want a plant that is evergreen, deters weeds, changes colors with the seasons, can be walked on a ton and blooms??? Then Sedum album Coral Carpet is your plant! I love this little gem! |
Care: | If the clump shows die-off in its center, especially in wetter areas, you may want to divide the clump and raise the area somewhat upon replanting - once every 3 or 4 years at most. Likes to dry completely between waterings...don't let it stay wet too long |
pH: | 0 |
